Tom stopped by my house on Monday afternoon, talked to me about paving my driveway. I was interested so he measured it out and gave me a price. I agreed to have it done. Within the hour his crew was here starting the process. He and his foreman layed the whole job out for me, answered questions i had and got on with it. They got the driveway prepped and ready to go for Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning they showed up, did some final prep work, the truck got back from the ashphalt plant and they began paving. it took less time than i anticipated, the crew didn't rush or take any shortcuts, when they were done, they cleaned my yard and the street. i am very happy with the outcome! they did an excellent job for what i considered a fair price. Great owner(Tom) with a great bunch of guys working for him. i would recommend them.
Land Grading in Steuben County, NY
PaveCorp Construction LLC provides land grading services across Steuben County and the surrounding Southern Tier region.
Expert Land Grading in Steuben County, NY
Land grading shapes and levels the surface of your property so water moves away from structures and toward safe drainage paths. PaveCorp Construction LLC handles land grading for homeowners and property owners across Steuben County, Chemung County, Allegany County, Yates County, and the broader Southern Tier area. Steuben County's rolling hills and elevation changes, which range from valley floors near Corning and Bath up through steeper terrain toward the county's southern reaches, mean that ungraded land often collects runoff in low spots, erodes on slopes, and creates soft, unstable ground. Our crew reads the existing slope, identifies where water is pooling or cutting channels, and moves and compacts soil to create a stable, correctly pitched surface. Proper land grading protects your foundation, keeps driveways firm, and gives any future paving or surface work a solid base to sit on. If your property in Corning, Elmira, Horseheads, Dansville, Penn Yan, Canandaigua, or anywhere in our service area has drainage trouble or uneven ground, contact PaveCorp Construction LLC to get started.

Land Grading FAQ
Common questions about land grading in Steuben County, NY.
Yes, grading before paving is the right first step. A correctly sloped surface keeps water from pooling under or on top of your driveway, which protects the paved surface over time.
Pooling water is usually caused by low spots or a slope that directs runoff toward your home instead of away from it. Land grading reshapes the surface so water flows to a safe drainage path.
Yes, grading can correct the slope and compact the soil to slow erosion on hillside lots. Reshaping the grade reduces the speed at which water runs across the surface and carries soil away.
Signs include standing water after rain, soft or muddy patches that do not dry out, and visible channels where soil has washed away. These are common indicators that the existing grade is not moving water off your property correctly.
