Tom stopped by my house on Monday afternoon, talked to me about paving my driveway. I was interested so he measured it out and gave me a price. I agreed to have it done. Within the hour his crew was here starting the process. He and his foreman layed the whole job out for me, answered questions i had and got on with it. They got the driveway prepped and ready to go for Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning they showed up, did some final prep work, the truck got back from the ashphalt plant and they began paving. it took less time than i anticipated, the crew didn't rush or take any shortcuts, when they were done, they cleaned my yard and the street. i am very happy with the outcome! they did an excellent job for what i considered a fair price. Great owner(Tom) with a great bunch of guys working for him. i would recommend them.

Expert Asphalt Milling in Steuben County, NY
Asphalt milling is the controlled removal of the top layer of worn or damaged pavement. PaveCorp Construction LLC performs this work for driveways, parking lots, and roadways across Steuben County and into Chemung, Allegany, Yates, Livingston, Wyoming, Erie, Tioga, Tompkins, Ontario, and Bradford County PA. The milling machine grinds down the deteriorated surface layer, leaving a clean, textured base ready for a fresh asphalt overlay. That textured profile bonds tightly with new asphalt, producing a more stable finished surface. Steuben County roads and private surfaces face hard freeze-thaw cycles each winter. Those cycles push existing pavement to crack, rut, and lose grade. Milling removes that damaged material before it spreads deeper into the base, protecting your investment. The removed material is reclaimed and can be recycled, reducing waste on every project. If your pavement is rutted, uneven, or holding water in low spots, milling is often the right first step before resurfacing. Contact PaveCorp Construction LLC to discuss your milling project in Corning, Bath, Elmira, Canandaigua, or anywhere across our service area.

Asphalt Milling FAQ
Common questions about asphalt milling in Steuben County, NY.
Milling is the right choice when your surface has widespread cracking, rutting, or uneven spots that a simple overlay will not fix. PaveCorp Construction LLC can assess your pavement and tell you whether milling or another approach fits your situation.
Yes, milling adjusts the surface grade so water flows toward drains rather than pooling across the lot. Correcting drainage during the milling step protects the base from water damage after the new overlay goes down.
Yes, PaveCorp Construction LLC serves commercial and residential properties throughout Chemung County and the surrounding region. Parking lots, access roads, and large paved areas are all within the scope of our milling work.
The removed material, called reclaimed asphalt pavement, can be recycled and reused in future paving projects. This keeps waste out of landfills and puts the old material back to work.
Not always, but milling is needed when the existing surface is too damaged, uneven, or built up for a straight overlay to perform well. Our crew evaluates each surface before recommending the right preparation step.
