Tom stopped by my house on Monday afternoon, talked to me about paving my driveway. I was interested so he measured it out and gave me a price. I agreed to have it done. Within the hour his crew was here starting the process. He and his foreman layed the whole job out for me, answered questions i had and got on with it. They got the driveway prepped and ready to go for Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning they showed up, did some final prep work, the truck got back from the ashphalt plant and they began paving. it took less time than i anticipated, the crew didn't rush or take any shortcuts, when they were done, they cleaned my yard and the street. i am very happy with the outcome! they did an excellent job for what i considered a fair price. Great owner(Tom) with a great bunch of guys working for him. i would recommend them.

Expert Driveway Sealcoating in Steuben County, NY
Driveway sealcoating is one of the most practical steps a homeowner in Steuben County can take to protect an asphalt surface. Winters here bring repeated freeze-thaw cycles that push water into every small crack. When that water freezes, it expands and widens the damage. Sealcoating puts a protective layer over the asphalt surface, blocking water, road salt, and vehicle fluids before they reach the base. Without it, the binder that holds the asphalt together breaks down faster, leading to cracking and costly repairs. PaveCorp Construction LLC serves homeowners across Steuben County and into Chemung, Yates, Allegany, Tioga, Livingston, Wyoming, Erie, Tompkins, Ontario, and Bradford counties, as well as communities like Corning, Bath, Elmira, Horseheads, Watkins Glen, Penn Yan, Canandaigua, and Dansville. The owner and crew bring the knowledge and hands-on expertise to assess your driveway's condition and apply sealcoating correctly. Contact PaveCorp Construction LLC to get a quote for your driveway.

Driveway Sealcoating FAQ
Common questions about driveway sealcoating in Steuben County, NY.
Yes, sealcoating is a practical way to protect asphalt from the freeze-thaw cycles common in Corning and across Steuben County. Without it, water works into surface cracks each winter and widens the damage over time.
A driveway in Bath is ready for sealcoating when the surface shows fading, minor cracking, or a gray, oxidized color rather than deep black. PaveCorp Construction LLC can assess the condition and let you know what prep work is needed before sealing.
Sealcoating is a surface treatment and is not designed to fill existing cracks on its own. Cracks in an Elmira driveway typically need to be addressed before sealcoating is applied so the seal bonds properly to the surface.
Most asphalt driveways in Chemung County benefit from sealcoating on a regular maintenance schedule to stay protected from seasonal wear. The right frequency depends on traffic, sun exposure, and the current condition of the surface.
Yes, road salt degrades asphalt by breaking down the surface and working into small cracks. Sealcoating creates a protective layer that helps keep salt from penetrating the pavement.
